While Mike Ballard transports us on a supersonic journey through a galaxy of hypermodern and prehistoric art, Five Storey Projects last night hosted Raagnagrok, a performance of musical rituals that created an entrancing and altered environment.

The final exhibition to take place at the Arts Gallery, before the building is demolished for Crossrail, is fittingly epic. The largest and most ambitious work yet by acclaimed artist Mike Ballard; The All of Everything, a specially commissioned work, is an all-encompassing installation covering floors, walls and ceilings featuring the artist’s flamboyant vision of art history.
The All of Everything races back and projects forward through art history, fusing, referencing and sampling at blistering speed. Merging painted floors and walls and a baroque collage ceiling into one gargantuan installation.
In a galaxy not too far away, in the not too distant future, and in the final reaction to the premise of The Object Of The Attack at David Roberts Foundation, Five Storey Projects hosted a live music event by Raagnagrok with an intervention by artists Charlesworth, Lewandowski & Mann. Raagnagrok, a London–based experimental music project, produced a seering psych journey with a plethora of feedback tools and instruments, electric guitar and a looping projector which rendered their audience entraced. Charlesworth, Lewandowski & Mann deliberated on time and space continuum with collaborative disjunctions of sculptural resonances and symbolic references, rounding of a pleasant evening in your friendly parallel universe.
