London’s designing husband and wife team Eley Kishimoto have maintained their success since 1996, continuing to supply us with great relaxed shapes with playful exuberance and the cutting edge.

The London Fashion Week tent resided well in the sun-soaked courtyard of Somerset House. With a bullet strength coffee from the Lavazza van and a champagne cocktail once inside the buzzing British fashion were out in force, being well into the swing of things three days in.
With their Spring Summer 2010, following with a large dose of fun and their trademark prints, always inventively used, now seem to pinpoint a key trend for next summer as other designers jump on the print pageant bandwagon.
Beyond the Chintz is a “A clashing of visual references in the home environment” mixing silk and cotton, geometric and check, leather and jersey, slouch with a touch floral this collection was another winner.
With silk loose dresses teamed with jersey long socks and chunky wood and leather wedges the models, with trademark nude faces tucked up bobs, took to the runway to fun party tracks. A-line skirts teamed with peter pan collared blouses, gorgeous knitted cardigans and beautiful blouson chiffon shrugs and shrugs there was a little something to brighten up any wardrobe.
Using with elements from previous collections, the particular favourite being a blue and white cropped floral jacket mixed with a peach tiered chiffon dress, and a loose cotton jumpsuit in sixties brown and mustard there were no shortage of playful combinations.
