Central Saint Martins and the V&A Museum join forces to offer a day of workshops and presentations on society's influence on textile and clothing design, as a part of the ESRC Festival of Social Science.
Central Saint Martin's College of Art & Design and the Victoria & Albert Museum are hosting an event exploring society's influence on textile design. A series of workshops and will be held through out the day on Tuesday, 16 March at the V&A. The event is part of the Economic & Social Research Council's Festival of Social Science.
Workshops include, crochet, drawing and doodling, contemporary fabrics and big stitch. Presentations and workshops are led by members of the Central Saint Martins and V&A communities. Scrapbox Studio, an exhibition of textile research work by current students and recent graduates of Central Saint Martins, will also be open throughout the day.
