jotta art director Dan Price gives a typically frank appraisal of the work at this graduate awards exhibition of “video painting”, organised by Open Gallery and artist Hilary Lawson, and is then poignantly converted. Find out how.

It took almost a week of decisions and discussion from the jotta and Barbican judging panel, and finally on Friday we informed collaborative duo Fay McCloskey and Jarryd Leader, and Camberwell graduate Valerie Driscoll, that their work would be exhibited in the Barbican Centre from today!

jotta selected 11 amazing moving image artists to create some mind-melting video works for Latitude and Big Chill festival. Latitude screened 20 minutes of these visuals on their spectacular wall of water last weekend. See some images of the display here and stay tuned for Big Chill! Who is going?

Radical Friend are Julia Grigorian and Kirby McClure. Based in Los Angeles, the filmmaking pair have created fantastically freaky music videos for the likes of Yeasayer and Black Moth Super Rainbow.
