By Millie Ross –  15.03.2012

Jotta are excited to announce the launch of our debut publication, a poster-sized compendium celebrating the artists and designers we discover through the jotta.com community and our real world escapades. Purchase your copy of this sparkling new edition here!

For the inaugural Jotta publication we present a poster-filled compendium celebrating the artists and designers we discover through the jotta.com community and our real world escapades.

Unknown Fields Division
regale us with tales of their expeditions to obsolete ecologies and forgotten landscapes. Processing pioneer Casey Reas talks emergence and the next phase of creative programming. We marvel at Amy Pliszka's expandable living spaces designed for urban bees, and introduce three contemporary artisans redefining their craft. Timothy Morton gives us an alternative view of Impact and winner of the Jotta Prize, Sophie Percival takes us on a walk through the surreal architecture of Beverly Hills. PLUS we curate a selection of some the most exciting art and design from the Jotta community, depicting a new nature in which technology is intrinsically woven. We chart a dialogue, travelling from obsolete ecologies through to contemporary depictions of a new nature, celebrating those speculating on possible futures and altering the present.

Once unfolded each page expands to a whopping A2-size, with the reverse of each article featuring a large-scale print fit for your wall. Including a photograph from Vincent Fournier's Space Project, Sophie Percival's Pools from a Plane, which Jotta exhibited at Sum of Substance, and a work by collage artist Hormazd Narielwalla printed exclusive to the Jotta publication.
