Coinciding with The Free For Arts Festival Space Within explores the relationship between object and the space in which it occupies. Site-specific artworks created with materials sourced form the local area transform the space with both sculptural and analog methods of practice, questioning a notion that modern architecture exemplifies a passing idealism found within urban landscape. Artworks engage with and appropriate the architectural setting and refer to materials, both tangible and intangible, found in the everyday space.
