London Fashion Week: Saloni Set Design by jotta

For those in the biz, London Fashion Week is generally a whirlwind of frantic racing between catwalks for 10 minutes of models stomping down a runway. Not, however, at the serene enclave that was the Saloni presentation. With giant paper origami sets created by jotta and Emma Rios, the London based, Indian-born designer Saloni used the stunning setting of the Royal Institute of British Architects to reenact the Japonisme atmosphere which inspired her collection.

We spoke to the ever-smiling Saloni, designer, Vogue columnist, about the inspiration behind her collection and her creative vision for the presentation, which included set design, comic series and illustration.

Thanks to Emma Rios and Stephanie Williams for their set design skills!
