After over 500 applications and many hours of consideration, the 100 chosen artists for The Other Art Fair 2012 have been revealed. Only 14 of these artists have been selected by Ryan Stanlier (Exhibition Director) and Mark Westall (Creative Director FAD) and they will be showcased at the BOXPARK gallery on the upper corridors for the month of May.

Geraldine Swayne, Lennie Lee, Jeremy Akerman,Giorgio Granozio,Alex Simpson,Pernilla Iggstrom, Chantal Powell, Sam Shendi, Ilona Szalay, Mark Powell, Joshua Raffell, Ricki Nerreter, Hormazd Narielwalla, Sarah Howe.

Plus as well as the exhibition The Other Art Fair and FAD are teaming up to overwhelm your senses with art, music and FREE drinks.

Expect an array of live entertainment including:

From The Fabelist Collective: A colourful programme of spoken word performance acts from Zoe Catherine Kendall and Jonathan Bright will be accompanied by the mellow tones of jazz musicians form the band ‘Stories’. Not only this but, there will be an exclusive opportunity to take home a free post card sized piece of original artwork by Fabelist artists and to contribute written anecdotes to a living body sculpture, designed and modelled by artist Nicola Anthony.

Performance art from Jack Catling, and live paste up art from Emily Evans and HIN. Blues/Folk/Rock artist Leah Mason and her three-piece band will be playing a 45 minute set, topping off the evening of creativity and culture.

Drinks will be provided by Briska , Havana Club and Fever Tree.
