Celebrating 15 years as a platform for visionaries such as Spike Jonze, Jonathan Glazer and Chris Cunningham, this year onedotzero’s annual adventures in motion festival 2011 takes over the BFI Southbank exploring themes permeating the creative industries with presentations, live audio/visual performances, 3d installations but most importantly, screenings of some must-see shorts.
While jotta got a sneak peak pf onedotzero_cascade earlier this month, we're curious to see the final works tomorrow. We're also excited to see our friend and collaborator Eric Schockmel on the bill, showing the animation he created for the jotta curated Intel Remastered exhibition.
If you are curious about the music video industry and how it is currently acting as a launch pad for young talent, ‘wavelength 11’ at onedotzero_adventures in motion, is a must see. Check it out on either Friday November 25th at 6.30 pm or Sunday November 27th at 8.30pm, or both!
For the wildly adventurous, we recommend x-rated ‘nightfall 11’ to see sex fused with gore. If you are emerging onto the scene, check out your competition at the screening on Sunday Novemeber 27th at 4.15pm.

Each year onedotzero commissions a new visual identity for its in motion festival. This year, the inventive trailer sequence is made from advanced laser technology created by United Visual Artists (UVA). UVA’s works create motion entirely from light and typographical sequences. The ethereal nature of UVA’s trailer piece is also potent in ‘Horizan’ the installation piece they will also present at this years festival.
If this isn’t enough for you ondotzero will also be hosting a series of inspiring, insightful workshops, panels and presentations that reveal and demystify the creative process, explore visual sound ideas, and offer a hands on coding with processing. Plus a live version of Marcinowski's interactive neo-noir movie ‘Sufferosa’ and the UK premier of N.A.S.A’s documentary on music video-making including behind the scenes footage of Kanye West, M.I.A, Tom Waits and more.
When: November 23rd to November 27th
Where: BFI Southbank, Belvedere Road, South Bank, Waterloo, London SE1 8XT
