++ A SAD DAY FOR ALL ++
05.10.2010

Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances we are going to have to postpone this Thursday's casting extravaganza. We are really upset about it, but don't cry we'll be back in full casting attire for your pleasure in the foreseeable future.

Sorry people.
Lateral view of the left auricle.
30.09.2010
Please join us for a medical foray with a difference.

Attire: Not your Sunday best.
Activities: Include casting and theatricalities.
Time and place: See below.

Even if you don't wish to be immortalised in our latest work then please do pop down. We'd be delighted to see you.
Long awaited...
22.09.2010
This week it has become increasingly evident to us we are loosing touch with our online community. We can only apologise (to all three of you including James!) and promise, hand on our hearts that it will never ever happen again.

I can only attribute this lack of online tenacity to:
a) a minor surge in our workload.
b) more importantly a subconscious fear of furthering our East London 'dickhead' qualities.
(trust me I'm already pushing it with the fixed gear bike, matching wheels and bar tape. But hey Vix is yet to put on her lycra flesh tone leggings so our fashionable attributes are hanging on in there by a thread.)

So we are currently updating our website this is the real reason for our silence. But to tempt your taste buds and maintain your interest we have updated our current site with just a few of the projects we have recently worked on. Still to come are shots of House of Fraser, Harrods mag, Lacoste, Canon expo and finally an online campaign for John Lewis shot last week with Alex Kent.

So keep watching this space.
expansion
20.08.2010
This month we will mostly be working and.....expanding.

Studio expansion is all set for next week, ideally I would love the extra space just to practice my dance moves. However this does mean we will have enough room to craft up a storm.

Two words - Studio. Warming. Whilst you're visiting bring a scalpel and some Uhuu...we've got loads to do this month. Ta.
OH it's hot...
21.07.2010
Yes this week we will mostly be complaining. Yet again our summer is consumed by what I affectionately now term my 'partner', let me introduce you to....Work.

Though we do catch ourselves at regular intervals staring wistfully at our studio window towards that small rectangle of blue sky, blissfully aware that another glorious day is passing us by, we are as ever appreciative of our heavy workload.

We are currently reveling in the opportunity to sit and craft at our desks. In the albeit glamorous role of model makers extraordinaire...

For the last couple of weeks we have been creating not just one but two Sweeney Tod style attics for a jewelry shoot with Harrods and Ted Humble Smith.

And so to what we have been doing whilst being trapped in our hole of a studio for the last few weeks....where to start?! Mushrooms, wooden 'avant garde' herb containers, a mirrored number 10, mini chairs, tables, clockwork mechanics to be attached to animals....the list goes on and on.

Bompas and Parr's and Corvoisier's recent Complete History of Food event went off with a smash and a bang. As with any event there is never enough time to create all that you really want so we gave it our all and filled a roof terrace with as many wooden and stretched elastic structures as possible. Whilst the rest of our prep week was overwhelmed by an extreme demand for thousands of expandable foam mushrooms in a variety of 'natural' colours. We dutifully poured and mixed for hours upon hours in a hazy daze of foam fumes in an attempt to fill a 5m corridor.

Whilst orchestrating this we also managed to squeeze in a lunar inspired Nike shoot with Thomas Brown for some shoes that even Vix said looked 'cool'...let's just say she doesn't really get streetwear.

Never a dull moment, after B+P's big event we moved straight onto a shoot for Wired magazine with Tom. Crafting the number 10 from mirrored styrene...all will be revealed in a couple of months for this one, until then let's just say it's mind bending. I'm now obsessed with anamorphic images.

And so to next week where we will attempt to focus on our concrete heads....mmm that'll be fun in a hot studio with no fan and a tiny window. Can someone turn the heat off during the day and maybe just make it sunny when we finish work? Narcissistic much...
