> Currently my work embodies what we understand as cultural and social anthropology. In particular, our constant desire for more in pursuit of our acceptance in society. A key factor in my work is an interest in transforming the potential of ordinary materials. Forms discovered or discarded are manipulated and progressively reworked to create new physical interventions that reveal a powerful idea, if only in its strange beauty and allure. Ultimately my practice is underpinned by a deep interest in objects, both man-made and natural, discarded and valued, enabling the creation of new restrained material forms via replication and re-use.
