Illustration Experience
Stephen Cheetham brings his vivid vector illustrations to the walls of East London cafe and gallery Tina, We Salute You, brightening up the wintery months with a trompe l’oeil lounge room.
jotta member and illustrator Stephen Cheetham was recently commissioned by Tina, We Salute You to wallpaper their space. Cheetham's vector based images are a cheerful combination of bright colours, clean lines and cheeky humour. His goggle-eyed characters and quirky sensibility have graced the pages of Google publications and Creative Review, to name a few, and now the walls of Tina, We Salute You.
"The idea was to turn the cafe space into a lounge / living room setting, complete with fireplace, furniture and family portraits."
And from the looks of these photographs, that is just what he's achieved, a cosy and colourful enclave for the Dalstonites.
Stephen's mural is up at Tina, We Salute You until the end of March, so pop along and have a look in person.
