To launch these new posters, in collaboration with Print Club London, Sarah spent the morning today screen printing the posters live in the Pick Me Up exhibition.
Sarah's new series of posters, "Process & Effect" are each inspired by something that has influenced her throughout her life, ranging from the final 6 punches in the Ali vs Foreman 'Rumble in the Jungle' fight to the Apple products that have been woven into the fabric of our lives.
At the heart of the series is the message that it's not the end result that counts, but the process that you go through to get to that result. As Sarah writes:
"It's the training, the practice, your tenacity and vision that give you the skills you need to succeed. And to do it with Flair."
As well as being Founder and Creative Director of With Relish, Sarah has recently run a half marathon, showing that the idea of training, practice and relishing the journey can be demonstrated throughout our day to day lives!
Drumming up quite a lot of additional interest at the event was a set of screen printed promotional QR codes directing people to the project microsite. The high tech QR code being manually screen printed onto grey board is an interesting justoposition between the crafted and the digital.
Process & Effect prints are available for sale from the Print Club shop online and on Brick Lane
