i have a love hate relationship with fashion. i love glossy magazines and use them a lot in my work whether i draw from them or cut them up for collages but the pieces i produce always seem to have an undertone of cynicism and sarcasm. my images act as a kind of back lash - by recycling the fashion industry's glamorous images and presenting them back to the audience in a way that rejects their original purpose and creates a new contrasting meaning.
