PERSONAL STATEMENT
My thoughts are commonly invaded with questions that begin with why, how and if... Constantly curious in innovation, society, user centered design, sustainability, communication, photography, taking small leaps into the future and technology, I enjoy initiating projects as beginnings are always most exciting and tasty. Born and raised in Venezuela with a five year parenthesis in North America. Graphic design background (2001, Universidad del Zulia), entrepreneur and co-founder of a design studio (Creative Director and Project Manager, 2000-06) With a push to shift my career, I packed my bags and as a recipient of the Program Alban Scholarship I came to the UK in 2007. Completely extracted from my context I graduated (distinction) as a Masters in Design Studies- Applied Imagination from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design (2007). Currently working as a freelance senior designer with Design Against Crime Research Centre, Innovation Centre at Central Saint Martins and also with Textile Futures Research and Consultancy.
