My work is inspired by my interests in engineers of the past 200 years, contemporary architecture, the outsider art of the early 20th century, a fascination in the grotesque, Cornwall and bold aesthetics through design and installation art. Joe Coleman and Banks Violette are perhaps my biggest influences and when considering design I really enjoy Kengo Kuma's work. I love to listen to a variety of metal bands ranging from Russian Circles and Wolves in The Throne Room to Suicide Silence and Latitudes which coincides with my love for all things railway orientated.
