The annual Salon Art Prize has moved to a larger gallery space to accommodate more artists per exhibition and will also offer an overall prize fund of £10, 500. deadline August 25th.
About the opportunity: Salon Art Prize is run by Matt Roberts Arts, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting the career development of creative practitioners through exhibition opportunities and training.
Over the past five years the Salon Art Prize has exhibited 428 artists and welcomed over 9700 visitors to our gallery in East London. To celebrate this success have moved to a larger gallery space to accommodate more artists per exhibition and will also offer an overall prize fund of £10, 500.
The Prize: Selectors can select up to 120 practitioners. They will be awarding £500 to the Photography, Sculpture, and 2-D Media category winners and £1000 to the painting category winner (supported by John Jones). One overall winner will be chosen to receive a further £8000.

Susanna Brown (Curator, Photographs, Victoria & Albert Museum)
