Matthew Barney - American sculptor, filmmaker and performance artist of the Cremaster Cycle and Drawing Restraint fame - steps into the judge’s chair for Shooting People’s Film of the Month this October. Barney is one of ten directors in Revolver’s ‘Destricted’, a compilation of erotic films intended to illuminate the points where art meets sexuality, released in the US by Revolver early November 2010.

Shooting People are looking for films that have been inspired by the Destricted shorts, however,  the work doesn’t have to have an erotic or even quasi-pornographic bent. Rather think as well of abstraction, surreality, heightened senses, the body as art ... it’s a wide brief.

The three films with the highest rating at the end of October will be sent to Barney for a personal review.
