So, you’ve done your degree show, you’re poised to graduate, the next logical step is to try and make some money from your work. Of course, you could sell your work! But how? join us at ECCA’s Enterprise Week, at London College of Communication for some handy hints on exhibiting and selling your work.
As a partner of the University of the Arts London (UAL), and a platform created to promote and engage the emerging art and design community, jotta has been invited to speak at the annual Enterprise Week series of talks and seminars for students and graduates of UAL, organised by ECCA.
As an ode to a project which has been keeping us busy of late, our new Editions Space, we will be discussing the ins and outs of seeling your work online. Join us as we discuss the process of exhibiting your work in various formats, as well as identifying, producing and pricing your work in editions with view to distribute online. jotta will also discuss the benefits of showcasing your work within alternative spaces, collaborating on peer lead projects and applying for competitions, residencies and grants. We’ll be offering advise on how best to situate your practice within a commercial remit and what strategies to adopt when dealing with these realities.
