ANNEX EAST’s collaborative group exhibition offers an interesting insight into London’s contemporary Art Scene, showing the vast variety of art the city has to offer and celebrating the individuality of the city’s galleries.

Just on the doorstep of the Olympics in Stratford, ANNEX EAST presents One One One, the first collaborative group exhibition from a selection of young, London-based contemporary art galleries.

One One One offers unique insight into the city's contemporary art scene, showing a cross-section of galleries from North, South, East and West London. Each gallery chose an artist in response to the exhibition space, creating a fascinating variety of works. 

The title of the exhibition is a reflection on the curatorial process: one gallery, showing one piece of art, from one artist. Galleries and their selected artists include:

 

In addition to the exhibition, ANNEX EAST will host pop-up restaurant Jimmy's Supper Club running from a bar designed by Copenhagen-New York based designer Nikolaj Lorentz Mentze. Food will be served throughout the Olympics with events, including film screenings and wine tasting.
